As Rodoet pointed out, I have been away for the last couple of days. I went to see a friend's gig on Walpurgis night; which accidentally turned into a five day event.
So I've read back through the forums, and what I see looks good. The idea of a session 0 (aside from having a great name) is probably the best way to go about getting everyone on the same page. It would certainly be quicker than using the forums. I see that this Sunday doesn't work for Cyretti, so shall we pencil in a soft time of 7p.m. CET on Sun 20th as a meeting time? If that doesn't suit anyone, just shout, and we can shuffle it around until everyone can be there.
Both of those are available Santi, under those exact names.
Also, in DnD every class has a specialization, like the 'Celestial' part of the Celestial Warlock, which means I'll also be able to cast protective/healing magic, in addition to the standard warlock stuff.
Maybe take a look at those as well to see which one you would like to pick once you hit level 3.
Rogues have: Arcane Trickster, Assassin, Inquisitive, Mastermind, Scout, Swashbuckler and thief.
Monks have: Way of the drunken master, Way of the four elements, Way of the Kensei, Way of the Long death, Way of the Open hand, Way of the Shadow and Way of the Sun soul
Oh! I almost forgot! Remember that youa re ment to have fun, so pick something that you will have fun with. Useful, epic, big, small, melee, spell caster, whatever, as long as you can have fun with it.
That's why I want to play a warlock. I like the kabooms. (and the lore behind them I guess )
But yea, before picking I advise that everyone looks at the player handbook. Most of the stuff is in there (classes and races and everything)
The other books also contain stuff, but it might be a bit much if you've not played 5th edition before to read 4 books before the first session.
